Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. Her childhood was spent listening to classical Boleros from the past and traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana enjoys tangos and the dramatic and opera performances. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in singing at 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. When she moved from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is a frequent soloist for private events and parties, performing traditional Latin American Music. The passion and love she has for art, music, and performing has her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to sing the same.
